Our Story

XtremeNomads was founded by Glenn, a certified kitesurf instructor since 2006 with a lifelong professional background in the watersports industry across four continents.
With 20 years of real Teaching and Travel experience, he guides kitesurfers safely from hesitation to confidence.
Born in The Netherlands with Balinese heritage, Glenn grew up around the ocean, surfing from a young age and learning to read wind and waves instinctively.
That foundation, combined with two decades of international coaching, shapes the way every Xtreme Nomads trip is designed.
The focus is simple.
Real progression, better technique, more confidence, and feeling comfortable riding in new conditions.

Glenn
Founder &
Head of Training
A passionate adventurer and seasoned water sports instructor with over 20 years of experience. From Asia to Australia, South America to Europe, Glenn has lived and breathed adventure and travels before returning to the UK in 2016. With a wealth of expertise as the store manager at Surface2Air Sports and two decades of teaching experience, Glenn knows what it takes to craft the ultimate adventure holiday.
Jose
Kitesurfing, winging & snowkiting instructor
Boardsports Year-Round Instructor. From Malaga, Spain, and as our local guide and support in Tarifa, Jose's knowledge goes far beyond the kite spots. His passion is adventure sports. With over 15 years of experience as a certified kitesurf and wing instructor, plus in winter season as a ski and snowboard instructor, Jose truly lives and breathes boardsports all year round. His infectious energy and knack for making people smile ensure every trip is as fun as it is unforgettable.
Pierre
Kitesurfing, winging & snowkiting instructor
Originally from France. Pierre has travelled the world teaching kitesurfing in destinations like Australia, Asia, East Africa, and Italy for the last 15 years. As a respected kite and board tester for The Kitesurf Mag, his expertise in the Kite sport is second to none. Known for his warm personality and wealth of knowledge, Pierre is one of the kindest and most insightful people you’ll ever meet on the trips.
Lendui
Kitesurfing instructor
Lendui is originally from Cape Verde and now based in the UK, A British Wave Master Champion and second place finisher in the Freestyle division, he brings serious skill paired with an easygoing, positive energy.
As our local guide and support in Cape Verde, Lendui’s knowledge goes far beyond the kite spots. He opens the door to the real Cape Verdian experience, from understanding conditions and hidden gems to sharing local culture and vibes you would never find on your own.
