Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Xtremenomads. We appreciate your interest and are committed to providing exceptional service for your kitesurfing lessons, courses, and holiday experiences. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before making a booking. By confirming a reservation with us, you agree to these terms.

 

1. Booking and Payments

  • All bookings are made with Xtremenomads, Poole, Dorset BH15 5YE.

  • A booking is confirmed only after the agreed payment is received in full.

  • We accept payments via bank transfer, debit, or credit card.

  • Late invoices will incur a £40 fee as per UK law, with interest charged at 8% per month from the due date.

 

2. Cancellations and Refunds

Courses & Lessons:

  • Full refunds are available for cancellations made more than 30 days before the course start date.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the course start date.

Company Cancellations:

  • Xtremenomads reserves the right to cancel any course or holiday at any time before the start date. Participants will be offered alternative dates or a full refund.

  • If cancellations are due to factors beyond our control (e.g., wars, natural disasters), refunds may not always be possible.​

Conditions:

  • Refunds cannot be issued for cancellations due to adverse weather or no-wind conditions. We will make every effort to reschedule or provide alternative activities, subject to availability.

Holiday Coaching Clinics:

  • Bookings are confirmed with a 50% deposit. Full payment is required 28 days before departure.

  • Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 28 days before departure will result in the loss of the full payment.

 

3. Liability and Insurance

  • Kitesurfing is an adventurous sport with inherent risks. Xtremenomads is not liable for injuries unless caused by our negligence.

  • Participants are required to have valid travel insurance that covers kitesurfing activities. Proof of this insurance must be submitted before attending a coaching clinic or trip.

  • Xtremenomads holds no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property during courses or trips.

 

4. Health and Safety

  • Kitesurfing requires physical fitness. Participants must be able to swim at least 25 meters and feel confident in open water.

  • If you have a medical condition (including asthma or epilepsy), please seek medical advice and inform us before participating.

  • Minimum participant age is 16. Exceptions may be made for specific youth courses.

  • Consumption of alcohol or drugs is prohibited before and during courses. Xtremenomads reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone under the influence.

  • We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior endangers themselves or others.

 

5. Equipment and Clothing

  • Participants are responsible for any damage or loss to Xtremenomads' equipment caused by negligence or carelessness, payable at the current replacement value.

  • For coaching clinics, customers may bring their own gear or rent from us.

    • Rental Packages: Accidental damage is covered. However, reckless use (e.g., attempting advanced tricks without skill) will require compensation.

    • Own Equipment: If your equipment is damaged during the trip, we offer daily rental options at £10 per item.

 

6. Travel and Holiday Coaching Clinics

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the correct visa requirements for their destination.

  • Holidays do not include flights and are based on arrival at the destination airport.

  • While we select destinations for their consistent wind conditions, we cannot guarantee weather conditions. Refunds will not be issued for no-wind days; alternative activities may be arranged, sometimes at an additional cost.

  • Participants are required to follow our instructions during trips to ensure safety and enjoyment. Failure to comply may release us from any liability.

  • Deposits are non-refundable, and full payment must be made 28 days before departure.

Currency Fluctuations:

  • Prices are set in GBP and based on regional currency exchange rates. In unforeseen cases where currency values fluctuate significantly, we reserve the right to adjust prices accordingly.

 

7. Disabilities and Special Needs

  • Please inform us of any medical conditions or special needs when booking. Xtremenomads reserves the right to refuse participation if there are safety concerns.

 

8. Governing Law

  • All agreements with Xtremenomads are governed by English law.
